Praise the Lord. How many are happy to be here today, in spite of the warm weather? Aren’t you glad you are in here instead of out there? Praise the Lord.

About two years ago, actually two years ago this past May, the Lord came to me and began to speak to me. And during that time of visitation with the Lord, as we began to communicate with Him, He made a very bold statement to me. He said to me that in two years that He was going to take me home. By the way, those two years expired this past May.

Well, I thought about it a wee bit that first year, but not nearly like I did this year of 1999. Prior to going to Europe, back in the month of March, the Lord spoke to me that He was going to speak to me again and that I should take three days to fast and pray, and wait on Him. We got to Scotland finally, and I told Brother and Sister Mercer and Brother Mark who was with me, "Don’t disturb me. I am not going to be eating meals with you. I just want to be alone with the Lord." And we went to prayer and just waiting on the Lord; and during that time, that first day, the Lord did begin to speak to us; and what He spoke was not just for my benefit alone but for the whole Body of Christ.

As He began to speak to me, He began to show me a vision. The vision that I saw was actually concerning all of us. The Lord took us into a place in the Spirit, where we were taken into a place, a realm, where—the best I could describe it, it was like one of these sewers that are in Paris. They have a lot of these sewers that are very large. I guess the French underground used it quite frequently during the Second World War when they were fighting the Nazis. I was taken into this place and it was not a totally dark place, but there was some light.

Now, you folks just have to bear with me. I do not get off like a gun you know. Some of the brethren, boy, they start right out and they are gone! I am not that way. You know that. We get to the good point though, eventually; and I have a lot to say and not really enough time to say it all.

So, we were taken into this place and it was like a sewer, a dark place. It was not total darkness, though. I noticed as I was observing this place that I saw people beginning to walk by me, and I wondered where they were going. I noticed on the right wall, towards my right, was a ladder, and like they do in these sewers, this ladder was built right into the side of the wall. I noticed that as I looked up that ladder, at the top there was light—brilliant light! It was the most brilliant light I had ever seen.

I noticed then that these people were walking towards this ladder. The first man that I saw had a long coat on that would probably go back to the medieval days, or maybe earlier than that. I noticed his pockets; he had huge pockets on the coat, and they were filled with like pearls, and necklaces, and gems, and what have you. Then I saw that he was carrying in his arms what looked like a treasure chest, and it was just full of precious stones, and gold, and silver, and what have you. And he tried to climb that ladder. His objective was to climb that ladder, and He would start up the rungs on the ladder and he would fall back down. Then he would start up the ladder again, and he would fall back down.

I thought to myself as I was observing this, "Why doesn’t he take out of his pockets what he has? It would be so much easier for him to climb and get to the top." But he would fall back down. He would start to climb, and he would fall back down because he was weighed down with so many things.

Then I saw another man following him, that had many, many coats on. He was having a hard time walking, let alone trying to climb. He came towards the ladder and he started to climb, and he would fall back down. Then he would try again, and he would fall back down.

I wondered as I watched this, because—I did not notice right away, but after a while I noticed that on either side of these people that were walking, there were demons of every sort. Some looked like they had long snouts on them like an alligator or like a crocodile. Others looked like another kind of beast, and it looked as though they were drooling, actually, at the mouth; desirous to pounce upon these that were walking, and devour them.

I wondered at this, and I noticed that there was kind of a mist or a veil that was stopping me from seeing the rest of the people coming. I tried to look and see if there were others that were coming and trying to get up this ladder, but I could not see and I said, "Lord, where are the rest of the people?" He said, "It is not for you to see at this time."

I said, "All right," and as I observed this, and as I watched these trying to walk up there, the Spirit of God begin to interpret this to me, that the weights that they were carrying…. Now you notice in the vision that there was nothing preventing them from getting up the ladder. God was not stopping any of these that were walking towards the ladder from getting up the ladder. There was nothing stopping them. The only thing that was stopping them was their own self! It was the only thing that was hindering them from walking up this ladder and getting to the top.

I believe that what God was showing us was that at the top of that ladder, there was the fullness of His glory in this high place. The lower realm in this vision was the soulish realm that God was taking me in, and this is where we have most of our problems, and our troubles start in this area. I saw that this soulish realm, this dark place that God was showing to me, was the most difficult place to get out of.

As these people were walking, I noticed that they were weighed down. You know the Bible says (in Hebrews 12:1) something about laying aside every weight and the sin that so easily besets us, that we run this race with patience. There was nothing stopping either one of these men from climbing that ladder into the fullness of God but themselves. I wondered why they did not let go of these things; why they did not lay them down. God said, "Here is the way. I have made access for you." I think that He said the same thing to Jacob in Genesis 28 when He showed him the angels of God ascending and descending on the ladder. He said, "If you want to come up to where I am, you have to step on every rung of the ladder." There is not an easier way to come up in God. There is not another way. There are those who try to ascend by another way, but they never make it in. The Bible calls them thieves and robbers.

So God made access for them, and He said, "You can come up. There is nothing stopping you but yourselves." Now, I wondered at this, and I wondered why they did not let go! The first man with all the precious stones and the valuable things that he had, he would not let them go; he would not cast them off! And the Lord began to speak to me, and He said, "There are many of My people that are bound. There are many of My people who are captive to material things, and they will not let them go and they cannot let them go. Even though they see the prize. Even though they know about the high calling, yet they will not let them go. They will not cast them aside. They hang on to them. These things have actually become a part of their life, and they will not sever it. They will not lay them down!"

And I said, "But Lord, You are showing Your glory." They could see the glory there. They could see the beams and the rays of God’s glory coming through the top of this place, of the ladder. I said, "Why don’t they?"

And He said, "They cannot let go of these things. They have become so fastened to them, so joined to them, that even My prophets cannot move them. They will not turn. They will not move. They will not let go. They hear My voice and yet they will not obey it. They hear My voice, but they will not lay it aside."

And I said, "What will become of them then?" And He said, "They will not enter in!" And I said, "What will happen to them?" He said, "THEY WILL REMAIN WHERE THEY ARE AND THEY WILL NOT CHANGE."

And I really, really…! Saints, you know, just because you are seeing these things will not make you better or special, nor does it say that you have overcome. And I thought to myself; I said, "Woe is me, Lord." As I searched my heart, I said, "God I do not think I would be fully ready. I think there are still some things in my soulish self that I need to be delivered from. God, I pray that You will give me the strength and the grace to lay my life down, and to cast aside every weight and the sin that would so easily beset me. God I want the prize! I want to obtain the goal! I do not want to die, Lord!"

And I am not talking about the natural death. I was saying, "LORD, I DO NOT WANT TO DIE AND MISS THE HIGH CALLING. I DO NOT WANT TO COME UP IN SOME LOWER REALM. I DO NOT WANT TO BE SAVED "AS BY FIRE"! I WANT TO ENTER INTO THAT FULLNESS, AND I WANT TO SHARE IN THAT JOY, THAT HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, WITH YOU! THAT IS MY DESTINY! THAT IS MY CALLING AND THAT IS WHAT YOU HAVE PREDESTINED ME FOR. GOD, DO NOT LET ME FAIL IN THIS HOUR!"

So, I sought out my own heart. I was not only burdened down because of so many saints that are in that position, but I myself. It caused me to call on God and to cry out to Him with all of my heart.

And I wondered at the other person that was so weighted down with all those layers of clothing, and I asked God. He said, "Many have covered themselves, but not with My covering." He said that it is as it was with Adam and Eve when they covered themselves to hide their nakedness. And it seems that every time the word comes to us, Saints—the word that is so quick and powerful, that begins to convict us—we try to hide our sin and we try to cover up the secret things in us. But, beloved, God knows our heart and God has been searching us out for a long time; and God has been weighing us in the balances to see whether or not we have been walking.

You know, God has been speaking to us for many years. Not just yesterday morning, but God has spoken to us many, many times when we have come together. And many are saying, "Well, we have heard that before. It has become a byword to us. When we go to conventions, we kind of expect that kind of word. But, there is no sense in getting in any hurry. I have to get everything fixed here at home. Why, the stock market, it is so high now! This is the time to invest! There is such prosperity now, and so this is not a time to go and take my money out and give it unto the work of the Lord!"

You know, we just made a temporary move to Colorado. It did not take me long, in fact even before I got back there, God had shown me a spirit of greed working, not just in Colorado, but sad to say it is working in the whole nation right now. People are knowing a false sense of security. We have been telling you, we have been prophesying to you (not just myself, but many of the brethren in this fellowship and in the Body of Christ) that this is all going to end. It is all going to stop and be destroyed, and where will you be then when you have trusted in your material wealth; when you have hung onto your substance and you would not let it go?

In fact, there are some who are like Ananias and Sapphira over in Acts 5. They pretend that they do not have anything. They pretend they are as poor as can be. God showed me several couples that say this, but it is not the truth. They have much money set aside in the bank, and yet when they hear the plea for the needs of the ministry of the Body of Christ, of the building, of many things, they do not respond! Oh, they may respond in a small token of a hundred, or five hundred dollars, when they could really respond and give all. And there is that thing that has touched them and held them, and some of them do not even know that they have that spirit holding them and binding them. They feel as though, "Well, nobody knows. I will just give this," but God knows and God sees our heart, and God is judging us by our heart, Saints. Not by our actions, but by our hearts!

And if it is not in our hearts to give all to Him, He knows that too. And if we are not doing it willingly, from the heart, He sees that as well. There is no reward in doing something just because everyone else is doing it. The only reward comes when we do it from our heart, with all of our heart.

And so, in the vision I wondered at this, and I noticed as I looked closer, I saw the hand of God over that whole situation. I noticed that He was slowly removing His hand. I knew what that meant. I knew that as He removes His hand, the covering of His people, that they would be open prey to every one of those demons. Now, I always thought that when God removed His hand, He did it quickly. No, He is doing it little by little, and we are seeing it happen in humanity all around us.

The thing that happened in Littleton, Colorado here several months ago when the young men came into the school, they had premeditated and planned this, and they killed them. And the one little girl there, when they said, "Do you believe in God?" She said, "Yes," and they killed her right there on the spot. I do not know how deep she was in God, but I think she held her testimony up. I wonder what some of us would do.

"Oh, don’t worry about it, Brother Campbell! I would say, ‘Go ahead and shoot me right in the head!’ " I don’t think so. I do not think there would be too many who would be willing to give their life just for their testimony for Christ. I do not think so.

But this kind of destruction is happening today, and it is going to continue to happen, and it is going to get worse and worse, and nothing will stop it but God.

 

So I saw Him removing His hand, and as He removed His hand, that is when I got very, very concerned. I said, "Lord, if you remove Your hand of covering, then, Lord, how shall we stand?" And I began to cry out to God, and I said, "Lord, how shall I stand? How shall the saints stand?’’

Now, I had asked Him previous to this vision, I had said to Him, "Lord, let me live the fullness of my life, and let me, God, fulfill my destiny. May I fulfill my destiny in that which You have called me for?"

The Lord did not answer me, but He showed me the vision first; and then He said to me, "Are you sure you want to stay? Are you sure?" And I said, "Yes, Lord. Not only for the sake of my family, but for the sake of the saints. But, Lord, what will happen when all hell breaks loose? What is going to happen to some people that have not really heard the word and are walking in obedience to it? Where will they be? Who will they look to? Who will be able to strengthen them and encourage them?" And I said, "No Lord, I still want to stay."

But, you know, I found out later that that was exactly what God was looking for. He was not going to kill me! Saints, He did not want to take me away from this life, now. He has all the help He needs in heaven. He does not need me. He has the seraphim and the cherubim and the saints before us. You know? He was looking for the right kind of response in me. He was looking for me to say, "No, I am willing to stay. I am willing to stay—not because I do not want to die, but because of the saints. Because of my family. God, there are some that are not ready to enter in. There are some that are not entering in. They are hearing the word, but they are not obeying it. They are not walking in it, Lord. God, what is going to happen? They will be so shocked and stunned when it happens overnight."

When God brings judgment, everything that happens—it happens immediately. It says in 1 Thessalonians 5:3, "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them…." And I believe that is exactly what is going to happen! I still believe and maintain at the ending of this year and the coming of the next year 2,000.… I AM NOT WORRIED ABOUT Y2K OR ANYTHING, BUT I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE FACT THAT THERE IS GOING TO COME SUCH A DEMONSTRATION OF GOD’S POWER AND HIS GLORY. I AM CONVINCED THAT THE ENEMIES ARE GOING TO BE TURNED LOOSE AND WE ARE GOING TO SEE THINGS HAPPEN LIKE WE HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE! GOD SHOWED ME THAT IT WAS GOING TO GET SO BAD THAT THERE WILL BE PEOPLE COMMITTING FORNICATION RIGHT OUT IN THE STREET! IT IS GOING TO BECOME SO TERRIBLE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SAY, "OH THAT’S TOO BAD! THAT’S TERRIBLE!" SAINTS, IT IS TOO LATE! IF WE ARE NOT IN NOW, WE ARE NOT GOING TO BE IN!

I said, "Lord, there has to be hope. There cannot be just a demonstration of Your judgment and Your wrath. There has to be hope." That is when He began to deal with me and He brought me this word.

Turn with me now to Ephesians 1, and I want to read from the 17th Verse down to the 23rd. Alleluiah!

"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling…."

God is not trying to hide anything from us. I believe the seal is open, and I believe God’s desire is that we may know Him; and not only know Him, but also know our self. I think it is a two-way thing. When God brings to us the knowledge of Himself and of His glory, and our position and place and calling, He also shows us our own hearts. And so we read Verse 17 again where He said, "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened…." Paul here said he was praying for them that their understanding, their mind, would be opened and enlightened. What does it say? It says (in Luke 24:45) that there was a time when Jesus "…opened…their understanding." He opened the understanding of His disciples, and they were able to understand concerning the kingdom of God. He said to them, "It is not given unto them to understand, but unto you." And so He opened their understanding. MAY GOD ENLIGHTEN OUR UNDERSTANDING SO THAT WE NOT ONLY HEAR THE WORD, BUT WE UNDERSTAND IT, AND WE RESPOND TO THE WORD.

You see, God is not looking for us just to hear and to understand, but to obey and to begin to walk in what He is showing us. Alleluiah! It says, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, (then) we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin" (1 John 1:7). So it is not just knowing light, it is not just seeing light, it is not just hearing it—it is WALKING in it! That is where our problem has been, Saints. That is where my problem has been. Not walking in the light! Not walking in what He has told us to walk in! Oh Alleluiah! Can you say Amen? Oh, glory to God!

All right. So, he says, "…that ye may know…." It is God’s desire for us to know Him. "…the people that know their God shall be strong, and do exploits" (Daniel 11:32). The people that "know their God" shall be strong! Not know about Him, not have a doctrine about Him, but to KNOW Him intimately, personally! Walking with Him, day in and day out: when things go wrong, when things are going right. Whether you are suffering in your body or suffering in your spirit, it makes no difference! You still know God! You are rooted in that! You are established in that! Let every wind of adversity blow, you still know, because you have a hope in you! Oh Glory!

Aren’t you glad God has given us a hope? He has given us a hope so that you might know what is the hope of your calling, and that hope that is in us—"CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27)!

I have a hope when all adversity is against me, when all the spiritual Syrian forces have combined their forces against us. When I cannot see because of the veil and because of the trial, I still have a hope within me, and they cannot destroy that hope. There is no devil in hell, there is not a person alive that can destroy that hope! That hope within us has been placed there by God, so I have to say to my soul once in a while, "Hope thou in God! Look not to your affliction. Look not to your weakness. Look not to your own flesh, but hope thou in God!" Glory!

So, He says in Verse 18, "…that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints…." Where is that hope and where is that inheritance? It is "in the saints." I am not looking for it to come down, and I am certainly not looking for it to go up. It is in us! Greater is HE that is in us than that which is in the world (the outer court, the outer flesh, that foreign country, that far country of our flesh). God has given us a hope that is stedfast and true.

All right, and reading from the 19th Verse, "And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power…."

Will you permit me to read that same verse in the Amplified Bible? I like the Amplified here for it brings it out so much clearer. "...And [So that you can know….]." Saints, I am not wishing, I am not hoping falsely, but I know in Whom I believe in, and I am persuaded a thousand percent that He is able to keep everything I have committed unto Him against this day! I know this! I do not know a lot of other things, and perhaps I do not know and I do not see the full picture of all that God is doing—I see a bit here and a bit there, and a piece here and a piece there—but I do know in Whom I have believed! That I know and that is settled. Amen! And I will not be thwarted, I will not be discouraged from that. No one will take that from me! Alleluiah! Alleluiah! That is a settled matter. I do not have to worry about that. I do not pray about that. I know that is there because God has put it there! Alleluiah.

All right! Continuing in the Amplified, "…And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in [us] and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength." In other words, it is speaking about what is in us now? Is it to come? No, it is in us now. It says, "…[so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness…" of that mighty power that is within us. Oh, Alleluiah! Alleluiah!

You know, it talks in the Bible about earthquakes. There are, you know, tremors as well as earthquakes, and we have had some tremors. We have not had the real earthquake yet. We have had some tremors, and you know what the tremors do? The tremors kind of shake things a little bit. I suppose people out in California have more experience in that area than I do, but a tremor will knock the plates down if you have them up on the wall, and it may topple over some books in the bookshelf. It may even knock over a lamp or something like that. That is a tremor.

It might even shake the land a little bit, you know. It might even do a little cracking here and there. But an earthquake! How high do they go? Point nine? Point eight? Point seven? Let us say it is a point nine on the scale. A point nine would really be a big one, wouldn’t it? Nothing would be left. A strong earthquake does not just crack the surface, but it goes down to the depths. You see, what is taking place in us, the tremors that have come, have shaken us, and God is shaking everything that can be shaken! Amen! Oh yes, He is! But listen! There is coming an earthquake in this earth; and when that opens up deep down inside of us, out of our innermost being (where the life of God is; where He lives and moves and has His being) He is going to come to the surface! His life, His power is going to come to the surface! Amen! And that is what is going to bring the power of God, and that is what is going to bring victory and deliverance! Oh, Glory to God! Alleluiah!

That is why there has to be tremors. That is why God has to shake everything. He said, "Once more will I shake all things that can be shaken, whether in the heavenly realm and in the realms of the spirit, or in the earth..." (See Hebrews 12:26-27). Those are just tremors, but it will be something different when the big one comes—"the Big Bang!" The big bang—that is what they call it out in the world. You know how they say that the earth and everything was made with a big bang; but I am talking about this "Big Bang" that is going to come to us. It is not only going to quake our earth, but it is going to open our earth, where God is! And there is going to be a mighty coming forth! Jesus said in the 4th Chapter of the gospel of John, "If you drink of that water, woman, then you shall thirst again, but if you drink of the waters that I give you, My life shall be in you a WELL springing up unto everlasting life!" I am telling you that God does have a counter action against the enemy! Oh yes, He does! Amen! When the enemy comes against us like a flood, God is going to have a standard. He is going to raise up that standard and it is going to be within His saints, the overcomers! Will you say, "Amen"? Alleluiah! Alleluiah! Oh yes!

So, I got the answer. Amen! The Lord said to me that He was going to endue us with His power. Let me finish this 19th verse in Ephesians, "That ye may know...what is the exceeding greatness of his power…. (That is what I am talking about) to usward… which he wrought in Christ when he raised him up from the dead." Now he is telling us what kind of power. It is not just, you know, the power to sing in the Spirit or to speak in tongues; but it is much more than that. It is much more than that, Saints. When Jesus came, He was the "fullness of God." He is the fullness that "filleth all in all." Do you understand? There wasn’t anything that He manifested that was imperfect or in part. He came as the fullness of God, and brought and demonstrated the fullness of God. Oh, glory to God!

 

So he is defining here the kind of power it is that is going to raise us up. It is the same power that raised Christ from the dead. It is not just the power to heal. It is not just the power to deliver, but it is THE resurrection life of God! The very life that was in Christ! The very life that created the heavens, and the earth, and the sun, and the moon, and the stars! And where is it? It is in us! In us! IN US! IN US!

THAT IS WHY GOD IS STRIPPING US. THAT IS WHY HE IS CLEANSING US. THAT IS WHY HE IS PURIFYING US. HE IS GETTING DOWN TO WHERE HE LIVES. HE IS GOING TO COME FORTH! AND WHEN THE SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS RISES, WE ARE GOING TO RISE WITH HIM IN RESURRECTION POWER! GLORY TO GOD!

Thank you Lord, for the strength to say that. I am kind of a cripple you know. Oh yes! That is what the doctors say, but I may dance before this is over! I saw myself the other night dancing all over the place.

I have a brace on my knee. I have had trouble. Oh trouble, you want to talk about trouble? Man, you come around this house, and I will tell you about trouble! I have it in the lower spine (that was deteriorating), I have it up in the neck (that is arthritic), I have it in the head. Yes, in the head. This chiropractor guy, he showed me the x-ray and he said, "You know what? I have never seen anybody’s spine quite like that."

I said, "You know, I am kind of unusual." He said, "First of all, your head bones…," and he showed me the x-ray. He said, "Your head is supposed to be like this…," and mine was like that. And he said, "Oh my, then you have arthritis over here on the other vertebrae, and your lower spine is deteriorating." I said, "Oh my goodness, I need a new body! That’s what I need!"

Then the knee got it, you know. The first time the knee got hurt, you know, I went to the doctor and he said, "Well, you take some pills, and you will be all right and you will get to feeling better." I said, "Okay, okay."

So then, we were moving, you know. Well, we have not moved, and by that I mean that all of our things are still in Wisconsin. They are in storage, and I do not know if I will ever tell you about that, but I think my wife could tell you a bit about that one. But, nevertheless, I was helping. You know, you cannot just stand around. You men, can you stand around when a doctor says stay off your foot, or stay off your leg, and you see your wife doing all the packing and all the work? I cannot do that! You know how it is. When you see people busy, you get busy! You know what I am saying: you cannot just stand around and gape, and watch. So, naturally, I am doing this, and I am lifting that, and I twist the dumb thing. And it hurt! Oh man, did it hurt! All the way out to Colorado, it hurt. It hurt this day and that day, and this day and the next day; so finally I went to another doctor.

All right, I will be honest with you. I will tell you what he did. He gave me a shot of cortisone in the knee, and he warned me. He said, "This is the last thing, mister. Next, we are going to operate on your knee." He said, "That thing is so broken up in there, in the cartilage…." I said, "If you did that, how long would that take?" He said, "Oh, you would be off your legs for months." I said, "No, no! I cannot do that, I am going overseas." He said, "Where are you going?" I said, "I am going to Europe." He said, "Oh, well you couldn’t go." I said, "Well, I am going!" I said, "Do something with it!" He said, "All right, but you have to stay off your leg!"

You know, that is hard for this fellow to do. I cannot even stand still when I preach, you know. And to stay off my leg—that was really going to be something. So my wife says, "You have to stay off your leg." Do you know what the Lord did? I got the stomach flu. Yes, I got the stomach flu, and I had to stay off my feet then! Yes, I spent most of my time in the bathroom!

So there we were, and all this is going on, and he gave me one of those brace things. Well, anyway, I put it on my knee, and it does help a little. And the other night, it was really giving out on me. I had preached in Scotland one time and both my legs gave out, and I just sat down in a chair, finished, and went right on.

But, I will tell you something. I found out that "greater is He" that is in me…! I am not going to look at my knee. I am not going to look at my leg. I am not going to look at my head. I am not going to look at my back! I am going to look to that which is in me that is greater than myself; and then it is HE who is motivating me, and HE has become my strength! He is my strength! He is not only my joy, He is not only my Lord and my Savior and my Healer, but He is my strength! For when I am weak, I am strong in the Lord! Alleluiah! For His strength is made perfect IN MY WEAKNESS! Glory to God! Alleluiah!

So, I did not even know if I could get up here this morning and preach, let along walk around like I am doing.

All right. He said in the 20th verse, "Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church (that’s us, the Body), Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all."

LISTEN, AS FAR AS GOD IS CONCERNED, ALL THE PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS HAVE BEEN DESTROYED! They have been cast down! Do you hear me? They have all been cast down. He has made a show of them openly! They have no affect on Him, and guess what? HE IS IN US! HE IS IN US, POISED AND READY TO COME AGAINST ALL OPPOSITION!

 

The Lord showed me one other thing. When I saw this, that He was going to divinely deposit in each one His power, it was not every one. It was just the overcomers! So, in the latter day, when all hell breaks loose, if some of us are like those men that I saw that could not make it up because they were clinging to things, we will not be among the overcomers. They were nurturing things of their own nature (whether it be greed, or lust, or whatever it might be); they were nurturing these things, and these things were binding them and holding them down. He said, "They will not receive that fullness of power."

You see, it is not going to be like it was in the past days. In the Pentecostal revival, God just poured out His Spirit upon everyone. In the Latter Rain revival, He poured out His Spirit upon everyone, but not so in this day! Not so! IT IS Only those WHO are HEARING AND obeying, and are walking in obedience to His voice and to His word, THAT ARE going to be filled with all the fullness of God!

AND DO NOT KID YOURSELF! IF YOU THINK THAT YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE IT JUST BECAUSE YOU KNOW THE MESSAGE AND YOU HAVE IT IN YOUR MIND—HONEY, YOU ARE KIDDING YOURSELF! THE ONLY WAY WE ARE GOING TO RECEIVE IS BY HUMBLING OURSELVES, BY COMMITTING AND SUBMITTING OURSELVES UNTO THE WORD OF GOD! AMEN! AND IN OBEDIENCE, WALKING IN IT!

Well, Glory! You are not going to see me for a long time. You know, I guess I said this in Freeport. I told them that when I said that we were going to go away for a long time, that some are saying, "Oh good! Oh good, Campbell won’t be around! We won’t have to put up with that guy!" I said, "Don’t kid yourself. I will pop in just when you think I won’t!" Oh yes! I will be popping in, you know! And they will say, "I thought he was gone, or dead, or raptured…" And then I will pop in again and you’ll say, "Oh no, not again! Not again!"

…All right. So, what was God saying here in the vision? God was saying that, "When I remove My hand away…." You see, it was just like when He was taken from us. When they saw Him taken from them, they said, "What are we going to do now? What are we going to do?" Yes, but there in Acts 1:8, He said, "Listen, go down to Jerusalem! Get down there right away, and wait! You are going to be endued with the power that was working in Me. You are going to be endued with My power." He was saying this to each one of them!

Why did He say that? Those were His last words, you might say. Those were His last instructions to all of His disciples. He knew that persecution was coming. Oh yes! He knew that there were many who were going to be slain—thrown to the lions, sawed asunder, boiled in oil. Oh yes! He saw that ahead, and because of that, He said, "Go to Jerusalem. Wait! Wait until you are endued with power from on high." So now, instead of one vessel, it was multiplied in many vessels!

And that is what is going to happen in this latter day? Oh yes, God has a secret weapon! Oh, Satan thought, "Well, now I have it made. I will go and kill all them Christians. I am going to get rid of them." But he didn’t! The more he killed, the more God raised up. He could not stop it! There was no way he could stop the leak! It would leak out here! It would leak out there! The people of God, the Christians of God, they were filled with that same power and they could not stop all of them! That is what is going to happen again! Amen! He will not be able to stop it. It will multiply.

But, I am going to say something. (I always say that one thing that spoils it all.) Do not kid yourself, to think you are on the bandwagon, and you are talking about your brother. Now, I am not talking about the people out in the world, but your brother. If there is animosity, resentment, bitterness, and criticism in your heart against the fellowship, or the brethren, then how can we come into a meeting or convention like this, and you are talking about your very brothers and sisters in God? You say, "Oh, that fellowship is of the world, it is of Egypt. It is Babylon." How can you say that? How can you say those things, and then come into a meeting and a convention like this, raise your hands, and sing your songsies, and say, "Everything’s fine!" IT IS NOT FINE!

GOD IS NOT PLEASED WITH THAT! AND THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF CRITICISM, AND TALKING, AND GOSSIPING GOING ON IN THIS FELLOWSHIP! I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT OUT THERE IN THE WORLD! AND GOD, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, IS GOING TO BRING US TO THE END OF THAT!

I knew I would say something you would not like. You were with me until I said that, but Saints that is the God’s truth! Don’t you ever come around this fellow and say, "That fellowship…or this…." I will say, "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus! You are in the wrong spirit, brother!" I do not care if you preach like an angel and you sing like one, if you have bitterness and resentment to your own brother and your sister that you sit in the same meeting with, then SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR EXPERIENCE! Oh, Glory to God! Alleluiah! The work of God will never grow!

Those that are in bitterness and resentment, and who are talking about the brethren, why don’t you help them if you think they are so bad? "Oh, I am not going to go out there. I am not going to go down there. I will not be party to that." Well, you will be a party to something else then. Anytime we start tooting our horn, God will take care of that real quick! And, one thing for which He will bring quick, swift judgment is when we talk about our brother or our sister in Christ.

We need to go to them, don’t we? If there is something we feel, that they are not doing right, then go to them. Help them! Do not criticize them. When you criticize somebody, it puts you up and makes you look good. Oh yes! It makes you and I look good when we talk about somebody else and put them down. Amen! May God grant to us grace, not only for ourselves, but also for everyone, that we love one another like He has loved us. Praise the Lord!

Let us go on. I want to read a few more scriptures, if I might. Alleluiah! Let us look at Acts 1:8. "But ye shall receive power ("dunamis," in the Greek) after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

You know this scripture, brethren. You have read this and you have ministered on this, so this is nothing new. But, the Greek word "dunamis" (power) is used here in this verse and it is also used with reference to what happened in the second chapter of Acts, when the Holy Spirit came down and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Dunamis means: "force; special miraculous power; ability; abundance; strength; violence; mighty; wonderful works." The word "violence" stuck with me as I read that. Do you know that word is used in the Word of God? Doesn’t it say (in Matthew 11:12) something about the violent taking the kingdom by force?

Then I went and looked up the word "violent," and it means, "untamed force, such as ‘the violence of a hurricane’; intensity; severity." So what is he talking about here? Do you mean to say that this "dunamis," this power that is coming from God to us, do you mean to tell me that there is a violence that is so strong that it is not tamed by man? That it is a force that is stronger than the hurricane?

Boy, these hurricanes down in Florida, you people from down there know something about it; and they have had some big ones in the past where they came and they have done such terrible destruction. Can you imagine the spiritual power of God, that when compared to the power of these storms, that it is greater than this? That it is greater than this violence?

So, I thought about that, and then I followed down another Greek word, "dunastace" (and it comes from the same Greek root word that "dunamis" comes from), and it means: "ruler; officer; great authority; mighty; potentate." We are still talking about "dunamis." We are talking about God’s power, and so great is this power that there is a ruling and an authority connected with it. You see, when Jesus ascended to heaven, He was set at the right hand of the Father, and He ruled and He reigned, and He rules and He reigns today.

But, wait a minute. "Now" we talk about the kingdom of God within us, and "now" we talk about the King abiding within us. And what is He doing? He rules! He reigns! When we are in subjection to His government, and every knee in us bows and every tongue in us confesses that He is Lord, we are under His divine authority. We are under His government. We become subjects of His kingdom, heirs of God, and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. Amen! And that power, that life, is within us! Oh, Alleluiah!

I am not looking up any more. I am not looking out. I am looking in. Here (inside us) is where He abides. Here is where He lives. And that power in us is mighty. In other words, He is going to bring a people into that place of rulership, into that place of authority, where we rule and reign with Him here over this earth (in us). But not only over this earth, but over many cities. Alleluiah!

Say "Amen," so I know you are awake out there. I am getting to the good part. I have not gotten there yet.

It says in the book of Acts that they had "great joy." This book gives the account of everything that happened after Jesus ascended, and of how the Spirit of God had been poured out upon these disciples and some of these men who were with Him, and in Verse 8 of Chapter 8 it says that there was "great joy!" It says that the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and great JOY! Joy!

In Acts 6:8, it says that Stephen was full of faith and power, and that he did great wonders and miracles among the people. So, now we are seeing here the greatness of His power being demonstrated in His chosen vessels. Everything about it was great. It says (in Acts 4:43) that they had GREAT power, and GREAT grace was upon them! How many of you have read that? I know you have read that in the book of Acts. So what transpired there was not just a touch from God. It was not just a stirring, but they began to receive the fullness of God.

All right, we read Acts 10:38 where it says about Jesus that He was full of great strength and power. He was full of the fullness of God. In Romans 15:13, Paul prayed and desired that "the God of hope" would fill all the Christians in Rome "with all joy and peace in believing," and that they would "ABOUND IN HOPE, through the power of the Holy Ghost." Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! Not to just have joy unspeakable, but full of His glory! Alleluiah!

All right. In Ephesians 3:20, Paul is exhorting the saints at Ephesus and praying for them, and he said here that this power of God that was working in them was able to do "exceeding abundantly" above all that they could ask or think. And in Hebrews 4:12, it says that the word of God is "alive and full of power."

James 5:16 [in the Amplified Bible] says that the "the earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available—dynamic in its working." We are talking about "dunamis" power….

Let me tell you about something that I am going to share with you real quickly. Several years ago there appeared an article in Readers Digest. I do not remember the year right off hand, but it was several years ago, and the article was titled, "The Facts About Healing." This was not fiction, but the facts about healing. Well, it said that they conducted some experiments at the Wainwright Institute in Rye, New York. They gathered together about a hundred people who claimed that they had the healing power in their life. They gathered physicists and these regular medical doctors, and they all came together under the auspices of the Wainwright Institute in Rye, New York. And what they did is that they took each one of these who claimed to have this healing power, and they took lead foil and some dental x-ray film, and they strapped it over both of their hands.

Now, the object of these scientists, these physicists, in doing this, was that they thought that if there was this sort of power in them, that it would cast a shadow on this dental x-ray film. That is what they thought, but it did not work out that way! Only with three out of all the hundred did they have any kind of results. Now, when I read that, I thought, "I think they (these three) have the goods. I think they really have the goods." The article said that in these experiments they were trying to get some evidence of a power, a force working in these individuals. They believed that if there was this power present, that it would actually cast a shadow on the dental x-ray film. However, it did not do that, but it did something else. It was only with three of them, but this power did something to the lead. It made it radio activated. Are you hearing me? They went over it again and again, and they came to a conclusion: "It is unexplainable! We have never heard of anybody experimenting and coming across this and discovering this before. It is an unknown! It is an unknown force!" It is something that has not been down in the books, in the scientific books. You will not get it if you ever go to school and study physics. You will never find it. It is not there. It is not listed. It is an unknown force, a power so great that it actually radio activated the lead in itself! Amen!

 

I believe the power OF GOD that is within us is greater than all the power or force of man that he can duplicate! Glory to God! Alleluiah! IT IS THE POWER THAT CAN RAISE THE DEAD! THE POWER THAT CAN CAUSE THE SUN TO STAND STILL, AND THE POWER TO CAUSE THE SUN, AND THE MOON, AND THE STARS TO STAY IN ORBIT! THAT IS THE LIFE OF GOD! THAT IS THE POWER OF GOD! IT IS WITHIN US! GLORY TO GOD! AND GOD WANTS TO RELEASE IT UNTO ALL HUMANITY! ALLELUIAH!

Saints, I am saying what Job said, "Let worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh I shAll see God"! I do not mean out there, but that I am going to see Him because I am going to be with Him and I am going to rise with Him out of this horrible pit—out of this darkness! Oh Alleluiah! Alleluiah! I will say of the Lord, "He is my strength. He is my life. He has become the Rock of my salvation." Oh Alleluiah! Alleluiah!

You say, "Well, Brother Campbell, you are not dead! How come? I was praying for you." Oh yes, I have a lot of well-wishers. They wish me not well, but other things. You know, God has given me peace in the matter. My wife did not know anything about this, and of course, Brother Tim Game had a dream about me. I am sure a lot of you never read it. I do not think He send it out to everyone.

In the dream, we were in a car, and the car had a bad accident. He was in the back seat and I was in the front. He was shaken up, maybe cut a little bit, and the car split in half. I was in the front half and it went down the hill and off the road. He went to look for me. He jumped up and said, "Oh, I have to see how Brother Campbell is," and he went to look for me, and said, "I cannot find him." Then it came to him that the Lord must have taken him. And I thought about that, and that was the first time my wife knew anything about what was going on.

So the Lord said to me, "I grant you your wish." Alleluiah! Oh yes! I have been wounded. I have been beaten down. But I am not out! And there is a song that came out some years ago by Dallas Holmes. Now, because I am saying this, I am certainly not saying anything about the man’s life, but I am saying this because of the song that God gave him. The song was, "I Will Rise Again." I will rise again AND I AM GOING TO RISE! I feel the shaking! I feel the moving of the Spirit of God down deep within me! The waters are being troubled. Amen! But I know one thing, that with God and in God, I WILL RISE AGAIN! ALLELUIAH! ALLELUIAH!

So, dear one, if you have been beaten down, and if you have been discouraged, and you have been despondent, and you have felt that you cannot go on another day—so great has the pressure been and the powers of darkness that have come against you. And you say, "Brother Campbell, you don’t know!" Oh, but I do know. I have been down in hell. I know something about it. But I have been up in the mountain, and I have come up to the mountain, and I am seeing clearly now the plan of God, the purpose of God! So, I do not have to look to me anymore, because I know in Whom I believe in, and I know that that resurrection life is going to cause me to rise with Him! Oh Alleluiah! Alleluiah! Amen! Alleluiah!

And I wondered. I was much concerned about the lack of the power of God. I remember the days gone by. Listen, during that great revival that came in the 1950s and the 1960s, God raised up men and they had the anointing. There were many of them that had the anointing. They may have lost it. They may have gotten caught up with money and success, but I sat on the platform with some of these men and I saw them operate under the anointing of God. I have seen cancers and tumors go like that.

When God first called us and God gave us the ministry of miracles, I saw many blind eyes and deaf ears opened. Saints, I mean people who were totally blind, totally deaf. I do not mean partially, that, you know, some of them could see a little, or hear a little. I mean totally blind, totally deaf. And God used us many times. I saw that in the past, and then I saw that it was not working like it used to; and I went to the Lord, and I said, "Lord how is it that it is not like it used to be?" He said, "Son, I am not raising up one man any more. I am raising up one Body. I am raising up a man child company!" He said, "I am going to fill them with My glory, and they will not go haywire. They will not get exalted. They will not touch success and then forget about Me." He said, "Nay, but they are going to be a people that have been cleansed and purged. A people that have been made whole and perfect in Me." And He said, "They are going to do wonders, but such as you have never seen before. They are going to do miracles such as you have never seen before." I said, "Oh God, let it be so! Let it be so! I see the suffering in the Body. I see so many of my brethren suffering. Suffering in their body, in their spirit, in their mind; trying to cast down their imaginations, and trying to get their minds on Christ and set their affections on things above. They are trying, but they are not succeeding, and there are many who are hurting in the Body of Christ." And I said, "I do not want to give them empty hands. I want to be able to say, like Peter, "Such as I have, in the name of Jesus Christ, RISE UP AND WALK!"

I never forget that time when my father was dying. He was sick. He had so many things. He had had a stroke and now a multiple heart attack. He became incapacitated. He had been a strong man, a physical man, and I went to pray for him. He asked me to pray for him, and I grabbed his hand, and I thought to myself, all I could give him is my empty hands and empty words…and he passed on.

I do not believe that is going to be the case in this latter day, Saints. We are going to give more than empty hands! We are going to be able to lay hands on them and impart to them the very life of God that I am talking about this morning. The very life of God that these scientists saw and witnessed. Amen! We are going to be able to impart that very power and that very life, and say, "In the name of Jesus, man thou art loosed from that which has bound thee! Thou art cleansed by the Word of the Lord! Thou art made every wit whole by the life of God!"

Oh, let us praise the Lord! I am going to quit right now. Let us bless the name of the Lord. Alleluiah! Let us stand and magnify the Lord! Amen! Amen!

Oh Lord, loose Your people. Loose Your people, Lord! Bring them on in over. Let them cross over Jordan, Lord! Let them enter into the fullness of Thee!

…I feel God wants to do a work. He has been doing a work. His Word has been working on us. The word you heard yesterday morning and last night—God has been speaking very directly to us. Saints, let us not leave the place of this convention without getting deliverance. If there is something in our spirit or our soul against one another, against a husband or a wife, or against another brother or sister, let us ask God to give us grace to go to them and release them, that we might be released.

If there is something in your spirit that you know is there, and you need deliverance from it—I believe deliverance is here. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is deliverance. Where two or three are gathered in His Name, He is there in the midst. He is here! His presence, His power is here. He desires to set us free. He wants to set us free. He wants us to make it! He wants us to obtain that high prize! Amen! That can only happen as we yield ourselves this day. Let us lift our hearts and our hands to the Lord right now.

I know there are those who need deliverance. I know there are those who are bound by certain things. I know there are those that are weary of well doing, and the enemy has worn you out and worn you down. But, Saints, I want to tell you that there is life here today! There is the Spirit of Life and the Spirit of God here to set you free. Amen! To heal your soul! To heal your mind, to heal your body! Amen! Amen!

…I am going pray for a few, but I believe that there are more than just a few. Let us just submit our self to God right now. Let us just commit ourselves to Him, and make a new covenant with God. Let it be a new beginning for you today, that you can forget those things that are behind, and let us begin to press towards the mark of the prize of the high calling. Let us not just talk about it anymore, but let us begin to do it. Do it now, today! Oh Alleluiah! Alleluiah!

…Those that have been bound by something in your spirit and your soulish self, I want you to just lift your hand. We cannot get you all down here, but I believe the Spirit of God is here, and we, the brethren, all of us, we can send a word to you, right now where you are, that God can release you from that which binds you.

If you call upon the name of the Lord, He will hear you, and He will answer, and He will deliver us. David says, "I have sought the Lord. He heard me and He delivered me from all my fears."

Lord, we pray this day, that Your Word shall go forth to this people; and God, You shall bring a release to the one that is bound in their soul, in their spirit, in their flesh. That no longer shall they be bound by anything, but God, they shall be released. May this be the day and hour of their visitation. May it be the time, Lord, of the release of Your presence within their life. Those that have been struggling, Lord, to overcome, and those, Lord, who have bombarded by the fiery darts of the enemy, we pray this day that Your Word, that is quick and powerful, may lose them and set them free, Lord.

It is our desire, Lord, that when we rise, we all rise together. It is Your desire to raise us up together, Lord. Amen! So, Lord, break the yoke. Break the chain that has linked us to death and to Adam. Loose everyone! Amen! In the Name of Jesus, loose everyone, and set them free. In the Name of Jesus! In the Name of Jesus! Alleluiah! AMEN!
